Problem statement

Problem: Busy schedules make it impossible for people to exercise and stay active.

Goal: Engage people in an exercise routine in a gamified way to keep them motivated. Offer activities that suit their level, schedule, and interests.

Understanding the user

Who? Rebecca — Working Mother

Rebecca is a working mother of a three-year-old with a busy, unpredictable schedule.

What? Staying Consistent With Exercise

Because of her lifestyle, exercise is often the first habit she drops. Rebecca needs simple accountability and positive reinforcement to stay motivated and feel proud of her progress.

User flow: the perfect workout

Finding the right workout

Based on the persona and user stories, I created a key user flow showing how Rebecca searches and filters to find an exercise that fits her schedule and fitness level.

Low-fidelity sketches were used to quickly explore ideas and validate the flow before moving into higher-fidelity designs.

Mood & visual design

Option 1: Urban & Fast-Paced

Inspired by the target group’s busy lifestyle, this mood board reflects a fast, urban environment.

City-based colors and gradients convey movement and speed.

Option 2: Sun & Strength

This mood board uses warm yellows and oranges to represent energy, strength, and positivity.

I chose Option 2 because it feels warm and friendly while still conveying motivation and power.

Creating the logo

Fire & strength of the sun - Logo process

Guided by the selected mood board, the logo explores themes of fire, strength, and energy.

Initial sketches explore multiple directions, leading to the final logo shown below.
